Psychotherapy usually refers to open-ended work and leads to a deeper self-understanding during which you and I will be exploring different areas of your life. We will make links between your earlier relationships and experiences and present ones and explore how behavioural patterns from the past may influence your current challenges. All these insights and your increased self-awareness will make it more likely to free you from outdated beliefs and attitudes which are no longer helpful. The aim of the therapy process is to help you to feel more empowered and in control of your life.
